If you love OptiSigns, why not tell a friend? Invite another business to join, and you each get $25 in account credit when they subscribe to a paid plan.
Here's how to do it.
Eligibility and Rewards
Anyone with an active, paid OptiSigns subscription can use Refer & Earn. This means an account with a Standard Plan or higher. The business you refer must be new to OptiSigns.
When the business you refer signs up to OptiSigns, the following will happen:
- You'll receive $25 in OptiSigns account credit. This applies for each business you refer that applies to a paid plan. So if you refer two businesses, you'll receive $50 - or $25 per business.
- The business you refer also receives $25 in credit.
These credits are applied toward your next invoice.
Your reward is confirmed as soon as the business you referred subscribes to a paid plan. You'll see it as Pending on your Refer & Earn page.
To allow for our standard refund period, each credit is held for 14 days before it becomes available. After this period, the credit moves from Pending to Earned and is applied to your account automatically.
How to Invite Someone
Open Refer & Earn from either the top navbar:
Or the floating Refer & Earn button in the bottom-right corner of the screen:
This will take you to the Refer & Earn page. Here, choose either Invite by Email or Share via Link.
Simply input the information requested, or copy/paste your referral link.
When the business you invited subscribes to a paid plan, you'll receive your reward.
Tracking Credit with the Refer & Earn Page
On the Refer & Earn page, you'll be able to track your referrals. Here, it will show you how much credit you've earned, and the status of each business invited.
Frequently Asked Questions
Why didn't I receive a credit?
If you were expecting a reward but didn't get one, here are the most common reasons:
- They haven't subscribed yet. Rewards are earned only when the business you referred starts a paid plan. Free trials and free plans don't count until they upgrade.
- It's still pending. We hold the credits for 14 days after they subscribe.
- They cancelled or were refunded within 14 days. Hence why we hold the credits for 14 days after they subscribe. If they cancel or get a refund, the reward is voided for both of you.
- They didn't subscribe in time. A referral must lead to a paid subscription within 90 days of sign-up.
- They weren't a new customer. Rewards apply only to businesses that are new to OptiSigns.
- They were already referred by someone else. Each new customer can be credited to only one referrer.
- They didn't use your link or invitation. Make sure they sign up through your referral link or the email invitation you sent.
- Duplicate sign-up. To keep things fair, a reward is given only once per customer, per email address, and per company.

Do the businesses I refer get anything?
Yes! They also get $25 in OptiSigns credit toward their first paid invoice.
Can I get my reward as cash?
No. Rewards are OptiSigns account credit only — they're applied to your invoices and can't be paid out as cash or transferred.
Can I refer myself or use a second account?
No. Self-referrals and duplicate accounts aren't eligible and won't earn credit.
