How to setup WIFI with OptiSigns Admin mobile app on OptiSigns Pre-Configured Android Player

In some cases, you may need to setup wifi on the OptiSigns pre-configured android player. For example, you choose not to pre-configure wifi at the time of ordering, or if you are planning to move the devices from one location to another location with different wifi network. 

Now you have the capability to setup wifi on OptiSigns pre-configured android player using the OptiSigns admin mobile app. We will walk you through how to do it in this document.


1. Optisigns app shows "Internet Connection is required for first time" on the screen.

You can download the OptiSigns admin app by scanning the QR code on the screen. If you already have the OptiSigns admin app installed you can go to the next step.


2. Open the OptiSigns admin app, login to your account.


3. Click the menu button on the top left corner.


4. Click the Setup Wifi button in the side menu.


5.Select the device that you want to get Wifi configured.

It will be Optisigns_Player, if you have not changed the device name in the OS.

After the device is successfully connected, the screen will show it is connected to OptiSigns Admin App.



6.Select the Wifi network you want to connect to.


7.Type in the Wifi password, and click SAVE.



Your OptiSigns Pre-Configured Android Stick should be connected to internet now.

You're ready to go.

And the screen should show you the screen pairing code. Then you can enter this pairing code on your web portal. If you want to learn more, you can click here. Or you can simply add the screens to your account by scanning the QR code.
