You can install OptiSigns Player app on any Linux machine, and use it as player for your digital signs.
OptiSigns app is packaged as AppImage and will run on all major Linux Distribution: Ubuntu, Debian, CentOS, Red Hat, etc.
To install, download the app 32bit or 64bit.
Once Downloaded > Open File Explorer > Right-click on the downloaded file > Select Properties.
In the Properties box, click the Permissions tab.
In the Access Control -> Execute drop down > Select Only owner (or Anyone) > Click OK.
After that, double click on the optisigns*.AppImage file to execute it > In the pop up, select Execute
On the side menu, you can set Orientation, etc. The app will have the AutoStart and Fullscreen on Startup features checked as default. The next time the Raspberry Pi starts up, it will run OptiSigns app automatically.
You now can go to our portal at: https://app.optisigns.com/ to pair the screen and start assigning content to it. For detail steps to get your screens started, please follow these guides:
