In this article, we'll show how to change the display size on your OptiSigns Android Stick so text and graphics show at the right scale, on every device generation.

If text, charts or web pages look too large or too small on your OptiSigns Android Stick, the device's display size setting is the cause. You can change it from the device's own Settings menu in a minute.
What Scaling Looks Like
The display size controls how many dots per inch (dpi) Android draws with. A lower setting fits more on the screen; a higher one makes everything bigger. Here is the same web page at two settings.
At 160 dpi, the page is small and fits more on screen:
At 480 dpi, the same page is large and shows less:
What You'll Need
- An OptiSigns Android Stick connected to your screen
- The remote that came with it, or a USB mouse
The steps depend on your device's generation. If the home screen shows an OptiSigns tile, a large Settings tile and Mix Apps, you have a Gen 3 device. If it shows an Apps button, a row of app icons and a settings gear in the top-right corner, follow the steps for earlier devices.
Change the Display Size on the Android Stick Gen 3
On the home screen, select Settings.
Select Device Preferences.
Select Display & Sound.
Select Display Size.
On the Display Size page, press left or right on your remote to make everything on the screen smaller or larger.
Change the Display Size on Earlier Android Sticks
On the home screen, select the settings gear in the top-right corner.
Select Android settings.
Select Extra settings.
Select Display.
Select Display size. It shows the current setting, for example Default 320dpi.
Press right on your remote until the - button is highlighted, then use it and the + button to change the dpi.
After You Change the Setting
Open the OptiSigns app again. Your content now shows at the new scale. If it still isn't right, repeat the steps and try one step smaller or larger.
| TIP |
| If the edges of your content are cut off rather than too big or too small, the TV is zooming the picture (overscan). Look in your TV's picture settings for a zoom, aspect or overscan option. For other players, see My Image Is Bleeding off the Screen. |
That’s all!
