How to Set Up the OptiSigns Android Digital Signage Player:

1. Connect cables & power

    • Connect the power adapter to the Android Stick and plug the adapter into a power outlet.
    • Plug Android Stick into your TV HDMI port (use extension cable if needed.)

IMPORTANT: Don’t power the device with TV’s USB port, most TV USB ports do not have enough power to run the device stably for extended periods of time.

 

2. Pair your remote

    1. Press and hold ← and ⌂ together for 5 seconds, the light on the remote will start to blink. Once it is paired, the light will stop blinking and “Remote connection success” message will show up on the screen. Note: You can also download and use OptiSigns Admin app as remote control

3. If you entered Wi-Fi during the checkout process, the device should auto connect to your Wi-Fi.

It will take a couple of minutes to set up the device automatically and start playing content. After the device is set up you can start assigning and managing content here.

 

Your setup is now complete and you skip the remaining steps.

4. If you see the below screen below please connect to the Network 

 

5. To configure your Wi-Fi now, press the Ok button on the remote. Network and Internet page will open up. In the Network & Internet, select your Wi-Fi network, and then enter your Wi-Fi password. 

 

You should now be connected to the Internet.

6. You can also connect to Wi-Fi using the following

    • Use our Mobile Admin app (link)
    • Mass Config with USB, SD Card (link)
    • You can also use Ethernet Port on the device and connect to the internet via wired connection.
    • If you order an un-provisioned device (the device will not be automatically provisioned to your account because you order as guest, or you just chose to order an un-provisioned device).

7. After connecting to the internet, the device will generate a Pairing code like below. You can log in to https://app.optisigns.com and  click on Add Screen to Pair the device. For more detail refer to this article

 


 

8. Assign Content - To assign content Click Edit

9. Click the Type drop down list and select Playlist & Select the Playlist you want to use. If you haven't create a playlist yet, you can use the Simple Playlist that was automatically created with your account.

 

 

Click Save

That's all! Congratulations, you have set up your Pre-configured Android Stick Device.
