Nowadays, digital security is critical in the world because both businesses and users store sensitive information online. You can set up Multi-Factor Authentication with your OptiSigns account. This increases your account's security.
Important Note:
- The authentication App feature is for ALL subscription plans.
- The SMS feature is only for Pro Plus and can only take US numbers.
- An email is required for MFA so this feature will not be available for users with a username as a login.
Let's jump in and get started:
You can set up the Two-factor Authentication on the Personal Profile page: https://app.optisigns.com/app/s/personal-profile
There are two authentication verification options to set up two-factor authentication in your OptiSigns account.
- Enable Authentication App
- Enable Text Message (SMS)
1) Enable Authentication App
You can Scan the QR code with a security or authentication app like Google Authenticator, Authy or Duo. Download one from the App Store or Play Store.
Then enter the 6-digit code from your authentication app to verify it.
You can download the Backup Codes.
You can turn off the Authentication App at any time, you can just click the "Turn Off" button.Enable
2) Text Message (SMS)
Enter the phone number that you would like to use.
Enter the 6-digit code from your text message (SMS) to verify it.
You can download the Backup Codes.
You can turn off the Text Message (SMS) at any time, you can just click the "Turn Off" button.
