How to use Waitwhile App

Waitwhile is a great platform to display and manage your in location waitlist and more.
Customers, visitors can sign up for a waitlist by scanning QR code (or with links you text them even before they arrived).
Then you can use OptiSigns to display this waitlist on your digital signs.

To put Waitwhile List on your Digital Signs.

Go to app.optisigns.com.

Click Files/Assets, then click Apps

Then click the Waitwhile app

Set up your Waitwhile App:

  • Name: name of your Waitwhile App, this is only for use in File/Asset list, it will not be displayed on your screen.
  • Waitlist URL: the URL of your Waitlist.
    • To get your Waitlist URL, login to your https://waitwhile.com/ account, click Settings > Waitlist and copy your Waitlist URL.

  • Update interval: default is 10 minutes. This means the app will refresh the link every 10 mins for any changes.
  • Auto Scroll: Toggle the auto scroll so that all your Waitlist is viewable.
    • Scroll Type: You can select
          • Down & Up: the app will scroll the web page down, and then scroll up.
          • Scroll to: the app will jump to a certain location on the web page
    • Speed: how fast you want to scroll, you can also customize the speed.
    • Page Height: enter the number in Pixel. This is needed because the app does not know how long your Waitlist is.
  • Zoom: zoom may help the content to be displayed better on your screens.
  • Show QR Code: Display the QR code for your Join Waitlist URL.
    • To get your Join Waitlist URL, login to your https://waitwhile.com/ account, click Settings > Waitlist and copy your Join Waitlist URL.

    • QR Code Position: position of QR Code.
    • QR Code Size: size of QR Code.

Click Save to save your asset.

You can preview how it look by clicking the "Preview button".

 

That's all!

Congratulation! You have created your Waitwhile App.

You can change the wall any time by click on it in the Files/Assets tab.

 

You can assign the newly created app to your screen by going to Screens, click Edit screens and assign the wall to screens that you want.

You can put the walls in a Playlist, Schedule too.
