You can factory reset your Android Player if the system is not functioning properly or the android system cannot load. There are 2 ways you can do a factory reset.
1. Soft Reset
You can perform a soft reset, if the system is still accessible and operational, this will erase all the data on the device and help improve performance of the device and fix some issues.
On the home screen, go to settings, under Device Preferences, choose Reset. It will ask if you would like to perform a factory reset, since this will erase all the data on the device. Click Ok, then the factory reset will be started.
2. Hard Reset
Occasionally, when certain Android system file is corrupted, the device will not be able to boot into the Android system. In this case, you will need to perform a hard reset.
When a hard reset is needed, you will need to get some tools like a needle/SIM card pin. Then make sure the device is completely powered off and the USB power cable is unplugged from the device. Next, use the needle/SIM card pin to press into the small hole on the side of the device, hold it and then plug in the power cable while the needle in still pressing the button in the small hole. The system will then boot into the recovery mode. Choose "wipe data/factory reset", factory reset will start.
That's all! The Android player should be factory reset now.
