With OptiSigns, you can broadcast your Zoom Meeting to your digital signage screens.
Here's how to use it.
First, create or schedule your Zoom Meeting.
If you schedule your meeting, for best experience please:
- Uncheck Waiting Room.
- Check Allow participant to join anytime.
- You can have a passcode for security.
Then copy the Link.
If your meeting already started, you can click the arrow button in Participant, then click Invite:
Then click Copy Invite Link
Once you have the link, go to OptiSigns Management Portal:
https://app.optisigns.com/app/assetManagement
Click Files/Assets -> Apps -> Zoom Meeting
Give your Zoom Meeting app a name and paste the meeting URL in it.
The options:
- Name: Name of the asset, this will not be displayed on your screen.
- URL: link to your Zoom Meeting
- Auto Join: set the app to join the meeting automatically
- Advanced: Hide Attendee: will hide the attendees bar
- Advanced: Hide Bottom Bar: will hide the bottom control bar
Click Save.
That's it! You have created Zoom Meeting App.
Now you can assign this Zoom Meeting app to your screens, or put it on a schedule so the screens will join automatically when the meeting start.
All the screens will join as Guest with the names are the name of the screens.
Tips:
Have the host start the meeting a few mins before screens are joining automatically.
It will take a device 10-15s to join the meeting, so it's not a good idea to put the Zoom Meeting in a playlist. It's better to use it as single asset to take up full screen or be part of a SplitScreen zone.
Note: Currently Zoom SDK is not optimized, player device with Intel processor will deliver the best performance, using weaker devices may impact the experience. Zoom is currently working on optimization for their SDK (release date is not known), and OptiSigns will update integration as soon as it's available.
