When customizing and creating digital signs with our Designer tool, you can add widgets, date, time, and scrolling text or overlay videos or images to make your Designs more dynamic.

A restaurant can mix in videos for more eye-catching appeal for menus.
To add widgets to your Designs:
Create a new Design or open your own.
Click Widgets, then click the widget you want to add.

You can see the Weather widget is added in the middle of the canvas.
Select it, and click Format Options:
The Format Option panel will show up on the right side of the screen.
You can adjust settings for the widget. With Weather: you can adjust location, style, font, color, background etc.
In this case, we just want a simple weather widget so we select Plain style, and make the Opacity 0%. You will have a widget like below.
Then you can resize by adjusting the corners and move it to the desired location by drag and dropping it.
To add an overlay video widget in your design:
1. Navigate to the Widgets section and add a Video Widget.
2. Go to Format Options.
3. Check the "Use as Background" option under Position settings.
This action will snap the video to the canvas size, making it the background for your design. You can then place other widgets and elements on top of the video, creating a layered, dynamic display that enhances the visual appeal of your content.
That's it! you have added a weather widget to your design.
Weather information on the design will be kept up to date when it's displayed on the screens.
You can try other widgets and see how they work, each will have it's own unique settings.
You can put the new created Design in a Playlist, Schedule too.
