With OptiSigns, you can add background music to your Playlist. You can play:
- MP3 that you upload
- or URL of the internet radio station (we recommend jango.com)
- or URL of YouTube videos
Let's jump in and get started:
First, go to your Playlist's Options:
Then click "Advanced":
You can upload your MP3 file or use a URL for internet streaming radio.
For example, you can use https://www.jango.com a top-rated internet streaming radio service with pretty much any radio station.
Find your Radio station such as https://www.jango.com/stations/287234911/tunein. Then you can click the share button and click the "Copy URL" button.
Then paste the URL in OptiSigns like below:
Now you can assign the playlist to your screens, and it will play the playlist with background music.
What if I have videos or other content with sounds & background music in the playlist?
In this case, it will create conflict, the sounds of the content in the playlist will be played, but background music may be stopped. You can change the Sound Priority setting on the OptiSigns app of your device. You can open the side menu on the OptiSigns app of your device and go to Sound Priority. You can change it to Background Audio.
What if I have multiple Playlists with background music in SplitScreen zones?
In this case, you can prioritize which zone background music will be played.
Please note that, if other zones have content with sounds, it may create conflict and stop background music from playing.
