Stretch your images, document - Fit Content vs Stretch Content

In general, we recommend you to upload images, document that will fit the size of your screens.
Most likely your big screens TV will have resolution of: 1920 x 1080 pixels (Full HD) or 3840 x 2160 pixels (4K).

However, if you upload an image or document that is smaller than your screen's resolution. You can select to Fit or Stretch it so that it can fill the screen.

Without Stretch or Fit. A smaller asset will look like this:

Stretch content & Fit Content are available at:

  • Edit Device when you assign an asset to screen
  • Split Screen, when you assign asset to split screen zones
  • Playlist collection (this is set when user create/edit playlist)
  • scheduleItem collection (this is set when user create/edit schedule)

Priority wise, in case stretch and fit screen are set at different level, player will prioritize by: playlist > schedule > splitScreen asset > device level.
